I recognized all but the last two of those, and I haven’t read some of them in *years.* (I’ve never read “the Witches” or “the Last Unicorn.”)

My favorite of them all, I think, is “Have Spacesuit, Will Travel.” It was my first Heinlein book, and it’s still my favorite of his “juvenile books.”

Just finished “Jumper” (hard cover) and found two typos. Might help for Kindle version (perhaps they’ve been fixed) or reprint. I could find no other way to contact you.
(1) Page 331, 3rd paragraph: “The men in the pit wre responsible for taking away the women I loved.” Change “wre” to “were.”
(2) Page 343, 7th paragraph: “I won’t push it. But If you ever go public?” Lowercase “i” in “if.”
That’s all I found so far. I haven’t gotten to work for hours because I couldn’t put it down. Now I’m afraid to get “Reflex”!

i had a question for you steve are there any other non jumper books coming out soon or are u focused on impulse promoting and its sequel also after the manuscript is turned in in june how long until you will let us know how it went and when its due out:)

As much as I have loved the Jumper series, 7th Sigma has been a greater delight. I’ve reread it several times, but the characters, the terse yet rich dialog, and the unique setting alway bring me back. Like many others, I hope that you will revisit this place.

A great read with a few caveats. I liked the depictions of the desert, though it seemed more like Arizona than New Mexico to me. With regard to plot, pacing, etc. I’d just like to enthusiastically second what’s been said above. I also liked the fact that you acknowledged Rudyard Kipling. (sp?)
The caveat I mentioned concerns the bugs. The implication is that they’re solar powered, but the total energy available within a reasonably bug-sized area seems insufficient to support their activities. (Conservation laws bite so many good ideas.) Still, a good book. I’m glad I read it and hope to see more set in this world.

Bought the hard copy a couple of days ago to go on the shelf with the rest. Unfortunately, I’m not in a position to cart a bunch of books around with me like I used to…and I don’t have a Kindle so…I’ll make a confession.

I…umm…borrowed a copy that I found online that can be read by ePub software on my computer. I’m so sorry, Steven. Let me know if I owe ya anything, I try really hard to support my favorite authors & I’ve read every one of your books I can get my hands on multiple times.

Up to Chapter 12 so far…and it’s just as great as the first Jumper book was so far. Catching the flavor of the viewpoints from the different people (adult, young teen) is just right!

I’ve recently finished this book and thoroughly enjoyed it. I am a very slow (dyslexic) reader and yet I sped through this story in three days mostly on my bus ride to work.

I really do hope Steven will return to this world with another book. The characters and environments just keep pooping into my mind still a few weeks after finishing…

I only just found out that Impulse even existed! Very excited for this. I have read Jumper every year since it was first given to me by my now late uncle. It was also his favorite book. A great deal of daydreaming has involved where and what I would do if I could Jump. I’m three chapters in to Impulse and enjoying every bit of it. Thank you for writing another installment!
