Blogging Elsewhere

October 29th, 2008 by Steven Gould

Brad isn’t. Rory isn’t. For some reason, Mad isn’t. Or Maureen. Or Caroline. Or Morgan–well, maybe Morgan is, but not that I’ve seen in e-mail.

    Or Erin. Or…

And Laura isn’t, and she should be.

I suspected there was a danger to keyboards so I consumed no beverage while I read it.

Alas I know someone who, while talented, has been so publicly offensive that there are probably very few people in publishing (and fandom, like Worldcon programming personnel) they have not offended. It is a real pity because they have true talent. But they have no “shut the fuck up/sit the fuck down” switch.

    It’s a real pity.

It is a sad thing, Paula, but nearly every one of my “funny” points is on the list because of multiple real-life examples.

  4. Rory Harper Says:

That wasn’t blogging at Tor anyhow.

    It was marketing. 🙂

Did you see Ms. Baker’s comments on part 2? She has a future in Publicity.
