Will you marry me? Or at least Shira?

  2. Stan Says:

“The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But, under the name of ‘liberalism,’ they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.”- Norman Thomas

  3. Rory Harper Says:

    I’ll really miss Bullwinkle.

    *sniffle*

    …Wonder how he tasted?….

  4. Madeleine Robins Says:

Ken–why, this is so sudden! Are you proposing on your own behalf or Shira’s, and what would we do with Danny (who sent this to me originally).

Rory–I was always a Rocky fan, but yeah. A world without Bullwinkle is a sad one.

As for taste: game is strong flavored. Think venison on steroids. You’d have to marinate the meat for a while, but…tasty eating.

  5. Ken Houghton Says:

My own behalf, but if you would prefer Shira, I think we can work something out. (You just have to promise never to move her to Canada.*)

And in other news, I see from Making Light that the editor of both Rory and Brad’s first published novel passed; waiting (im)patiently for a post from the authors of Petrogypsies and Wrack and Roll.

*though Valerie is happier here since we ran into Chris Kratt (Zoboomafoo) in the park Saturday morning. Not Jerry Orbach, but it’s something.

  6. James Hollaman Says:

i think you will find bullwinkle taste just like bambies mom

Moose tastes a lot like cow. Not very strong, milder than venison.
