American Prayer
Rory Harper
Damn. I have a new favorite song today.

You can watch it full-screen in high-def if you click the link for that. Hardened old radical that I am, not much makes me cry any more. But this one did.
Saw it on Booman Tribune a few minutes ago. Click the pic.

The vid is getting some interesting reactions, well worth your time to peruse. Especially if you have a streak of cruelty in you, as I do, and sometimes enjoy watching 28-percenters go insane as they realize that the tide is turning.
Here’s what I posted in comments there as GreyLion11:
‘At first, I thought this vid was pretty darn good. Catchy beat and well-executed vocals. Nicely anthemic. Deftly accomplishes what it set out to do.
After reading the comments here, I realized that I missed an important dimension to it.
From the way it’s yanked so many of you wingnut trolls from under your rocks, spewing and frothing about it, desperately misinterpreting and distorting its simple message of hope, I can only conclude:
It’s a GREAT vid!
Thanks for the entertainment, guys.’

That’s such a great video. It *almost* made me cry. That’s pretty good.

This is not a comment.
I was taking a nap today.I had a dream and Steve Goulds’ name came up in the dream.I have never heard of Steve.
Anyway in the dream I heard a prophecy from a boy on television. From what I could understand,It said.”It was necessary for Barrack to win the election. For the country to fall forward. But afterward he punishes the punks and steals the gold.
Thats all.
Thanks.

That was…. exotic…
But it doesn’t seem to be spam or trolling, so I’m leaving it. I’m sure that Steve is just Jumping into your dreams. Not to worry. He’s (relatively) harmless…
