The Return of LAUGHIN’ BOY
Bradley Denton

As I return to Eat Our Brains after an absence of a few weeks, I’m also announcing the return of my novel LAUGHIN’ BOY as a trade paperback. It’s available for preorder from Wheatland Press right this minute. The stunning cover art is by Darin Bradley.
LAUGHIN’ BOY was originally published as a limited-edition hardcover by Subterranean Press in 2005. It was a gorgeous book, and it sold out . . . but its cover price and small print run meant that a lot of potential readers didn’t see it. So I’m beyond delighted that Wheatland Press is now publishing this less-expensive but equally beautiful edition.

YAY! I thought about stealing one of the NYPL copies, but this is a much better idea.

Congratulations! I didn’t realize the hardcover was a limited edition - I may have to pick up a copy of the new edition, too, just to have a reading/lending copy.

Go Brad! This is great news. Congrats.
(Not to mention, yay! I don’t have to look at decaying superheroes everytime I visit the site! (I know, I know; if I’d done my post yesterday like I should have, I wouldn’t have had to (bu bu but I’m almost done with my rewrites! I have a good excuse!)).)

And I thought it was the pictures of Jesse Helms and W that were turning you off, Morgan…

This is totally cool, Brad. I do, however, have one question. Having just read the Publisher’s Weekly review over at Amazon, I really do have to ask — when the hell did you meet Mark Twain so’s he could mentor you? I’m so jealous; I only ever got to see his grave in Elmira.

Yay! Laughin’ Boy is back! I have the limited, but, as Michael suggested, a paperback copy would be good to have, also. Hope it sells out, too!

Thanks, gang. I can also report that the page proofs look GREAT.
Casey, we protégés call him “Sam.” And the reports of his death were greatly exaggerated.
