  1. Madeleine Robins Says:

Does this mean that our favorite Steve gets vast quantities of cash in brown paper bags?

  2. Steven Gould Says:

I get more cash if they do a sequel. A sequel has shown up on IMDB but I haven’t heard anything official and the “announcement” referenced is old stuff about them having planned 2 sequels if the first one did well.

Indirectly, I’m doing fine. Sales are up and there’s been new foreign rights sales, too.

Obviously I’m hoping for a sequel.

And my favorite movie is actually probably still CASABLANCA.

  3. Rory Harper Says:

Steve said: And my favorite movie is actually probably still CASABLANCA.

But…. But… Casablanca doesn’t have even one helicopter in it… Takes it out of the running completely, as far as I’m concerned.

  4. Madeleine Robins Says:

CASABLANCA is absolutely my favorite movie not based on a book written by a friend. (And I gotta say that what CASABLANCA lacks in helicopters it makes up for in quotable lines.)

  5. Martin Says:

I certainly wouldn’t call Jumper my favorite movie by a long chalk. But what I will call it is a somewhat naff little popcorn flick whose success means good things for a guy I like, therefore I’ll support it for that reason. The Blu-ray will probably be one of the least watched movies in my library, but I’ll still pick one up.

  6. Rory Harper Says:

Like Steve has said repeatedly, he doesn’t care what you believe, just how you behave.

As long as you keep behaving by Giving the Money, you’re our guy, Martin!

  7. Martin Says:

I’m hoping all this pecuniary love enables Steve to start writing some more books, hint hint…thud!

  8. Aliza Says:

I agree with Martin. I want Steve (though I feel awkward calling him by his first name) to write 100 more books.
