Okay — $500 million worldwide gross. That’s my bet.
Killer trailer, and it looks like they kept a fair amount of the origin-story and romance.
This could actually end up being a pretty good movie…

Very cool indeed!

The poster behind the trailer says that it’s copyright 2007 by “Fox and it’s related entities.” Someone is having a very stupid day.

Maybe sleep dep. (I’m trying to be kind…) But, ugh.

I’ll see it. I’ll enjoy it, even, I suspect, if I can make myself forget that it’s supposed to be based on your novel.
But I really preferred it as character-driven, not action packed.

Cool. As. Hell.
Though they come from the same source, I always figured I’d have to enjoy the book and movie separately–like twins, each with their own adorable idiosyncrasies. Which one is the evil one? It hardly matters; they’re both so much fun.
But, man… It really looks good. I can’t wait for the TV show (I’m hoping for HBO), the Halloween costumes, the pinball machine, and the cereal.
I’VE got goosebumps. I can’t imagine what you’ve got, Steve.

I was so happy to recognize parts of the book too. OMG The scene where Davy goes back to his room and his father is there! Loved that. The books to me were both character driven and action packed. No sign of Mary yet though. I’m getting curious to see Diane Lane.
The new trailer is awesome and looks like they’ve taken and really great book and made it into a big screen epic.
The new international poster reminds me of one of the early Jumper covers too.
