Elementary, my dear Watson!

November 16th, 2007 by Steven Gould

Maureen ran this on her blog and got the same result. She seemed pleased.

Elementary my dear Watson.

When I ran it over at my personal blog, I got Junior High School.

I’m thinking swirlies, wet willies, and wedgies.

10 points if you can figure out how this post relates to Brad’s last post.

  1. Ken Houghton Says:

Brad’s last post is going to be part of the new EOB-writers McGuffey Reader?

  2. Bradley Denton Says:

    Possibilities:

    A) Steve has taken the day off.

    B) Like all human males (even those who prefer cats), Steve is a Dog.

    C) I used to have a dog named Watson.

    D) Twenty-one of the twenty-two words in my post have just one syllable, making it a very Elementary post indeed.

    E) All of the above.

  3. Steven Gould Says:

Well, I was thinking C, but the others are pretty good, too!

  4. Casey Hamilton Says:

Gotta be smart for mine, it says.

But I’m not sure you have to be smart to write it.

Hey, I just did the copy/paste HTML for the image, and there’s an URL embedded in there for someplace called cashadvance1500. Did you know that, Steve? I took that part of the pasted HTML for mine just now.

  5. Steven Gould Says:

I wasn’t smart enough to take that part from their website. Unfortunately, I only pasted the stuff that was relevant to their graphic and not their cheesy ad. Someday I’ll be smart enough to figure out how to spam my own site with their cheesy ad.

All this talk of cheese is making me hungry.
