Brain Activity

Sweating on the Mat

I’m here in Berkeley, California (one of Rory’s favorite places) indulging in a little mayhem. I’m attending an aikido summer camp–Five hours of classes a day in some pretty hot weather. Body parts flying every which way (none detatched that I know of.)

I’ve been studying aikido since I turned forty. It was a my mid-life crisis and since there isn’t a sports car or a mistress involved, that’s pretty good. Still, the internet connection at my hotel is obtained by walking down the balcony outside my room and then leaning over until I get a signal. As you might imagine, this makes for some odd typing and cruising so this day’s post is going to be a little shorter than usual.

I should be back in Albuquerque in time for Caption Monday!
