Club of Heads
Steven Gould
Club of Heads is a blog slightly younger than this one that actually got its start from our example. In particular, they liked the seven writers/seven days model. They talk about SF and Fantasy and Television and Movies and other odd things and they do a podcast which interviewed me this last Sunday.
Club of Heads Podcast: Steven Gould Interview (55:10 min)
We had fun but before they had me on the show they did a glowing review of my book Jumper which is so positive it’s embarrassing.

Thanks for the interview and participating in our site… Cyber space is a weird thing, you write on a site and then your a part of a community.

The internet is the prosthetic memory that lets me remember things I never knew and the friends I never met.

Thanks for the shout out Mr. Steven Gould! We loved having had you on our podcaste. We’re such a humble little collection of people, and the fact that you did our caste makes us all beyond happy!
And thanks to EatOurBrains, for the inspiration!

Mr. Steven Gould? Like, who is that. Some old guy, sounds like.
But you’re more than welcome.

We had a blast as well. Sorry about the whole “Mr.” thing.

Look, Steve, there’s no need to be embarassed for hitting it out of the park. Jumper is a book I dole out carefully to people who will love it, and it hits them hard.

Andy, as long as you don’t call him Mr. Chuckles, you’re probably OK.
April 16th, 2007 at 10:08 am
My vote was to call him Uncle Steven, but the rest didn’t agree!

Hey, CoH guyz — It’s occurred to me that we could put a permanent link to your interview on our ‘Downloads’ page if you don’t mind.
It would still be sucking your bandwidth, unless you’d prefer that we host it here instead. Though I think it would be good to try to drive some traffic your way if at all possible.
Yes/no?
April 16th, 2007 at 10:42 am
Uncle Steven? Everyone knows it’s Uncle Stevie!
Either that or Illya Kuryakin.
April 16th, 2007 at 1:35 pm
Dream on, dude.
April 16th, 2007 at 2:06 pm
Hey, I liked Uncle Steve, but I thought formality was required for some one who has actually been published
My alternative vote actually was “…publish” said in an Egor fashion.
April 16th, 2007 at 2:18 pm
I suppose you could always call him ‘Our Dark Lord’.
He’d like that.

Dark Lord Mashup
Sauron to Frodo: No, I AM your father!
Frodo: Noooooooooooooo.
April 17th, 2007 at 12:57 am
lol
Ok Uncle Illya it is!
That would be great if you’d link to the interview. YAY! Go for it. If the bandwidth goes crazy I’ll let you guys know. Thanks!
Andy

Andy — It’s done. Please check out ‘The Downloads’ on the navbar at the top of the page and make sure that I listed it in a way that pleases you. Lemme know if you want anything different.
I like your site, and look forward to hanging out with you guys more in the future.

….Incidentally, ‘Bliss’ is one of my favorite names.
As evidenced in ‘Do Me Good’, which is available on the download page. Though it might be best if you don’t read it.

Rory,
Thank you!
It pleases me
Also, Bliss is her real name. She is blissful as well.
April 20th, 2007 at 4:26 pm
I’m blissful? Well, I have my moments, I suppose
I wanna call Uncle Steve ‘Our Dark Lord.’ That rocks. I’m in a total Potter mood right now any way…
April 20th, 2007 at 11:17 pm
Except it would invariably be our sunburned and peeling lord. Us redheads….
April 29th, 2007 at 1:15 pm
Though it occurs to me that “Our Dork Lord” would also be appropriate.
