I liked the original movie quite a bit, but this is apparently a different creature in many ways. Lately, I'm watching way too much tv, though. I don't know about Golden Age, but the networks are streaming, for free, too many shows this year that I seem to be the target audience for. I'd pretty much ended the tv habit before I broke my leg, and now I have a half a dozen shows that I'm mildly addicted to. Either Caroline is right, and they're writing smarter shows these days, or I took some undetected brain damage last month.
