He missed his calling. He should've been a professional athlete. And(while we're at it) when are we going to get back to "Take Me Out To The Ballgame" at the seventh inning stretch of baseball games? "God Bless America" is just another song for which the players don't know the lyrics. Not fair to Callas. I don’t think she would’ve added any notes.

I more and more admire performers who <i>just sing the notes as written</i> without imitating a slide trombone. (Snark's always fine with me, Caroline. Snark all you want; they'll make more reasons.)
