A find!

Here’s a great website I just came across: Indexed, for “think[ing] a little more relationally without resorting to doing actual math.”I picked the global warming graphic, since I just did a big hairy post on it, but there are lots there. Fun! And some with clever barbs buried in them.  Recommended.

Now you’re just being cruel. (Did I mention I have a townhouse condo by the sea… about 50′ from?)

    And how high above?

    It’s not me; it’s fate…

(OK; it’s human-induced climate change, and I’m a human, so maybe it *is* me….)

  5. LDA Says:

Fate? Isn’t it rather the choices we make, well-intended or otherwise? We choose to purchase where we did for aesthetics and convenience, and we’re choosing to hold onto it even though GW and rise of sea levels seem a foregone conclusion. (The house is maybe a few feet above sea level. Fortunately, the size of the bay and its coral systems mitigate tidal surges, even in hurricanes. Nevertheless, we’ve been noting inordinately high tides in the past couple years that come up to the very edge of the sea break. Maybe in the future we won’t need to use the dock; we’ll be able to tie up the West Wight to one of the lanais.)

  6. LDA Says:

Fun site you found there. Thanks.
