Absolutely delightful! This one kinda says what we've all thought whenever we watched a 'slow zombie' movie.

...I still have fond Sixties memories of dropping acid with friends and going to see 'Night of the Living Dead' at the South Main drive-in theater in Houston. It was an excellent film, given that they had essentially no budget.

The pharmaceutical environment in which I first experienced it may have skewed my evaluation a tiny bit, of course...

The story was that one of the backers for the movie owned a slaughterhouse. When you see the zombies eating entrails and such, it's not special effects.

Quite coincidentally, I came across this today:

(I frackin' don't like Blogger. I just can't seem to figure out how to post a hyperlink in Comments the way I want to. If Stevie or somebody wants to fix the link above so that the word 'this' is the label for the link, I would be incandescently grateful.)

Rory, I can do it but I need the rest of the ulr. Email it to me, okay?

And we won't have this problem when we go over to WordPress on Monday.

Yep. That's the one. It looks like it's playing only in theatres on the West Coast and inward a bit.

The few reviews I've managed to dig up (get it? --'dig up'-- Hohoho... I'm so funny I hurt myself sometimes) are, well, savage is the word that comes to mind...

The one I'm really looking forward to is 'World War Z', which was recently acquired by Brad Pitt's production company. Even if they screw it up, it'll have a budget big enough to make for some gory eye candy...
